Tasty Tuesday ~ Clean Sweet Pumpkin Seeds

Guest Blog Written By: Melissa from The Mutts Kitchen

Hello Chic Mammas,

Melissa from The Mutts Kitchen here. It is my favourite season, Fall, and that means everything pumpkin! I make my own pumpkin puree at home, so I always have lots of seeds to make. Since having my daughter 8 months ago, my family has turned towards healthy eating and exercise. I am trying my best to make clean meals for my family, snacks included.

These pumpkin seeds have just the right amount of crunch and sweetness to keep everyone coming back for more. My son ate most of the batch before I could even get my hands on it, lol.

Hoping everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.  Please give these seeds a try and let me know what you think.

2 cups Pumpkin Seeds
1 tsp Coconut Oil, Melted
1 tbsp Coconut Sugar
1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice Mix

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Clean the seeds by placing in water and removing the stringy bits
3. Place on a tray, lined with paper towel, to dry. Preferably overnight
4. Place seeds in a bowl and mix in the oil til covered
5. Add the sugar and spice and mix well
6. Place on a foil line baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes
7. Remove from the oven and stir the seeds around and place back in the oven for 5 more minutes

Enjoy Mammas 🙂
